Artist	Enrico Isamu Ōyama: "Writing and Picturing in Post-1945 Asian Art" University of Chicago Enrico Isamu Ōyama will be performing at the international symposium “Writing and Picturing in Post-1945 Asian Art,” conducted for three days from Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23 at Department of Art History and Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago. (Ōyama will perform on Day 2, April 22) 　 At this symposium, researchers and curators, who specialize in East Asian calligraphy and ink painting, will have presentations and talk sessions on the history of calligraphy and ink painting. Masaru Iwai: Reborn-Art Festival 2017′s 1st Talk “Oshika Peninsula in Earth History”

The preparation for Reborn-Art Festival 2017 to be held in the summer of 2017 on the streets of Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture and Oshika Peninsula is in progress. Watari-um Museum is conducting the very first trial curation for the Art department in Japan.
